Welcome to LNI, where Newton kids learn English in a fun and exciting way.
“Go away, coronavirus! We can’t be stopped from learning English.”
April and May were challenging for all of us because the global pandemic affected various aspects of life, especially education. Many schools closed and decided to pursue learning through online classes, and that is what we also did. We were able to conduct online classes with excellence, thanks to our super teachers who create a welcoming environment and effective activities.

BEAR CLASS
"We are the Bear class!"
English online class
"Hello! We want these hats, please. How much are these?"
In Bear class, we learned to speak about clothes, choosing the right clothes, giving compliments and more. We used actual clothes and accessories to make our lessons more engaging and interesting.
We also did a short skit, shopping at a store and exchanged conversation.
"We love English songs!"

ZEBRA CLASS
"We're learning numbers from 1 to 1,000"
"Whose wet towel is it?"
"What does he/she have?"
"Let's spell TIME!"
In Zebra class, we learned about “things.” We focused on things that can be found at home and school, such as a comb, a watch, a lamp, a clear file, etc.
We also learned phonics every day, played games, and participated in a wide range of activities to make learning more fun.

KANGAROO CLASS
"Let's sing The Alphabet song!"
"I can spell ran!"
"Writing is challenging!"
"Let's read Biscuit book!"
In Kangaroo class, we also learned phonics every day, and the kids practiced writing alphabet letters correctly. Starting to write at a young age is challenging, but over the long-term, such practice will improve their motor skills, and eventually, they will be able to read and spell words.

SHEEP CLASS
"Let's learn about animals"
"I can count!"
"Where is the baby mouse?"
"I can clean up by myself!"
In Sheep class, we learned about school supplies, fruits and animals. Some of their favorite vocabulary words are pencil, dog, cat, banana, apple and orange.
We also introduced the baby animals, and the kids identified mommy animals and baby animals by playing a matching card game.
Some kids cleaned up by going to the front table and putting the things in respective boxes. Good job, Sheep class!

DUCKLING CLASS
"Let's learn the months of the year!"
🎶🎵"What's the weather like today?"🎵🎶
"Which one does have the /b/ sound?"
"This one!"
"Let's color the orange, orange!"
In Duckling class, our babies made major strides in understanding English and figuring out how to communicate. Most of them can talk in basic English, use gestures and follow English commands. The kids liked to sing songs like “Baby Shark” and the “ABC” song.

Learning English can be an overwhelming and time-consuming endeavor. With effort and over time, though, Newton kids will be able to improve their English and use this skill to connect to people all around the world.
Let’s do our best!
